Bus Stop Design + Communications was established 16 years ago, by principal, Caren Thomas after a long and successful career working for some of Toronto’s most prestigious design studios. 

Originally from Montreal, and educated in French, Caren is a graduate of York University’s Honours BFA program, and has pursued her career in corporate design for more than twenty years. Her focus over the years has been on the design of annual reports, corporate brochures, branding, identities, and websites. She has designed and produced work for accounts ranging from large to small, including Barrick Gold Corporation, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, UNGC Network Canada and, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, to name a few.

As creative director and account manager, Caren maintains the role of key contact person on all projects. Her experience in designing and managing large projects is vast, having produced numerous annual reports, large campaigns, event programs and identity launches. Caren’s involvement in every project is maintained from inception to delivery of the final product. She ultimately oversees every project to ensure consistency and quality throughout the process.
